Cardiovascular
Many patients in our service area are diagnosed with Hypertension (High Blood Pressure). If you are one of them there are things you must do to control this. High Blood Pressure is know as the "silent killer" because many times the patient has no idea that they are suffering from this condition.
Do you know what your blood pressure numbers are? If not, then you really need to have it checked as soon as you can. Normal Blood Pressure is 120/80. Any number higher than 140/90 is considered to be high.
When was the last time you had it checked? If it has been more than a year, you need to call and come in for an annual physical to check your blood pressure.
Do you have a family history? Is there someone in your immediate family that has been diagnosed? If you answered yes to any of these, then chances are that High Blood Pressure might run in your family.
You need to have your Blood Pressure checked regularly.
